In view of the severe devastation caused by a Richter magnitude scale 8.0- earthquake in Sichuan taken place on 12 May, A.S. Watson Group took the lead to hold a staff donation in the head office at Fotan in late May.

With staff's generous and enthusiastic support, the Group has raised HK$574,834 and donated to the Red Cross' project of relief, reconstruction and disaster preparedness operation in Sichuan.

On 11 June, the representatives from different subsidiaries under A.S. Watson Group including PARKnSHOP, Fortress, Watsons Your Personal Store, Taste, Watsons Water and Mr Juicy presented the cheque to Bonnie So, Head of Communications & Resources Development Department of Hong Kong Red Cross (pictured).

Besides, Watson's Wine Wholesale, the fine wine wholesale business of A.S. Watson Group, has raised HK$35,000 from a charity auction held during a wine dinner partnered with the brands of Chateau Lagrange, Chateau d'Issan and Chateau Corbin on 24 May.

All proceeds from the auction will also be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross for the relief of Sichuan Earthquake.

Auction items include Chateau Corbin 1998; Chateau Corbin 2001; Chateau d'Issan 2003; Chateau d'Issan1999; Chateau d'Issan 1989 and Chateau Lagrange 1985.
